The story of a photo smith
“Photography for me is not looking, it’s feeling. If you can’t feel what you’re looking at, then you’re never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures.”
— Don McCullin
My first memory of truly enjoying photography was a summer 2004 trip to Germany to visit family. I was blown away by the rich history and beauty of Europe - I wanted to take pictures of everything. The photography seed was planted, but I didn't sprout for many more years.
In 2019 I decided to get a basic digital camera to see what a more sophisticated camera could accomplish. The seed that was planted 15 years before blossomed and since that moment my primary drive has been to develop and hone my craft. I became obsessed with every aspect of photography, inhaling every bit of knowledge and information. I knew I finally found my path - I knew I found my calling.
This is just the beginning of this journey and I hope you will join me.
